Sync slower

Seems to me that syncing devices has gotten harder and less dependable than it used to be. I have Logos on my LapTop (W10), my S8 dumb phone, and my newest Samsung tablet. I do my daily reeding on one or the other. Sometimes not Opening Logos and 2 for days doing my reading on one or the other. The "SYNC" button often doesn't update until numerous tries.
The problem is now at 73 I have to remember where I left off last when I pick up a different device. 
Am I alone on this?

This could be a problem!
I am not having sync issues.
