I would be great to be able to incorporate external news sources, blogs, and possibly RSS feeds within the Logos 4 Home Page. Thanks!
I like that idea! [Y]
I would like it if Logos 4 washed the dishes, vacuumed the carpet, mopped the floor, and prepared dinner. Obviously, this isn't going to happen.
Cobbler, stick to your last.
I'm not sure why the cynicism is necessary. I'm simply saying that a lot people (like me) might choose to begin their day with the Bible-study time, based out of the Logos home page. It seems reasonable to allow for the user to choose for Logos to access the net and display certain information that might be helpful to their devotional time.
I'm not sure why the cynicism is necessary.
Nothing wrong with your suggestion, keep em coming!
Until the basics are in place I will continue to be cynical regarding the plethora of suggestions for tweeks. I want note files which are at a minimum equivalent to L3 and a functioning morph search. I'm happy to see that they have resolved the problem with some of the texts such as Josephus, Philo and the Apostolic Fathers so that I can now display text only rather than all of the other garbage. It's a matter of timing. Apparently not many use the original languages as original languages without looking at morphological tagging, etc since there isn't much mention of that, but until that works properly L4 is brain-dead.
This would not accomplish anything that cannot already be done elsewhere and would unnecessarily complicate L4.
Obviously, this isn't going to happen.
This is a suggestion forum. Let people make suggestions. Let Logos decide which ones are valid.
Dan, your suggestion is a good one.
Excellent idea. And since Logos touts their Home Page as a "newspaper" why not wake up to the weather forecast. Great ideas, Dan.
as I watch the tutorials I see that on their Home page they have different things than I do... Example theirs has the Biblical images as the first thing (That would be Great) but I can't seem to find how to do that? the "customize" thing in the lower left doesn't have anything for Biblical Images that I can see! Am I missing something? Please help
I believe the Images show up if you have "excerpts" checked in the customize options. The placement of the images on your homepage is managed automatically, probably based on the size of the image and your screen.
