Bible Book Explorer vs New Testament Use of the Old Testament Tool

I have a few questions about the Bible Book Explorer (BBE):

What is the difference in the content of BBE compared to the New Testament Use of the Old Testament (NTUOT) tool? Other than a different way of viewing the data, is there any different information available in one tool or the other?
Do these two tools use the same source of information? What is this source? Given that there are different view of allusions and echos, this would be valuable to know. It would be awesome if it allowed you to display different views, as is one in the Timeline. I suspect that the data is collected from various sources.
In the Intertext view of BBE, is there a way to see specific passages that are cited, alluded to, etc. along with the passage that cites or allludes to it? Tthis is available in the NTUOT tool, but it does not include the Apocrypha.
Suggestion: If a passage comes from the Apocrypha, it would be helpful if a message along the line of "Click here to see the verses cannot be displayed in the current Bible version". Then the version would change to the first prioritized Bible that can display the verses (such as NSRV).

Great questions. They are related to one of my main challenges with Logos, which is usability. Logos has great tools, but many of them overlap in their functionality. There are many ways to achieve the same thing, which leaves people confused. I wished that there was a more strategic approach to tools and their functionality to make sure each one of them has a distinct, cohesive purpose.

The "about" documentation states "The Intertext view presents data gathered from the New Testament use of the Old Testament Dataset" as a chord diagram." So the tools use the same source of information. The "about" documentation for NTUOT gives the source of the data as David A. Jones' Old Testament Quotations and Allusions in the New Testament.

As for the rest of your questions, I'm unsure of the answers. By clicking on the ring, I get searches that give me target or source but not both.
