Logos 9 on Mac OS 10.13.6

My first email message this morning was from Logos alerting me to the change in support for L8: there is none.

Note my version of Mac OS in the Subject. Has anyone tried L9 on this version of Mac OS?

Yes, I know that the Logos support chart says it is not supported, and I was in the computer business for years so I understand what "unsupported" can (and usually does) mean. I haven't updated my Mac OS because the hardware won't support it.

I do plan, if the Lord provides, to update my 10 year old Mac to a new model later this year. If my L8 stops working for some reason, well, I'd be dead in the water. So, I thought I'd ask this vast audience: anyone try it yet, and if so, did it work (unsupported, of course!).

I wouldn't worry about upgrading to L9 until you upgrade your Mac. It's extremely doubtful that L8 will quit working before then because you won't be upgrading the OS, which is the main reason (that I've found) that Logos quits working or has major issues.

Well only as dead as somebody who hasn't typed app.logos.com into a web browser's URL bar.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll wait for the new iMac (June is the rumor). If something happens to my current iMac to keeps L8 from running, I'll take a look at the web app version--something I had not considered.
