Using: MacBook Pro, macOS Big Sur 11.2.3
Logos 9.4.0.0009
Did the following to create a Greek word list to which I can manually add particular words.
1. Docs > New > Word List
2. Named new list “Greek Word List”
3. a. Add > Add lemmas from > “LGNTI”
Did this since Logos online instructions at
https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747331-Word-List
say, “Note: Adding lemmas or words from a reverse interlinear Bible will add the corresponding words from the original language version.”
b. If I add a reference, such as Matt 1:1, all goes well whether the source is NASB95 or LGNTI
But I want to add specific Greek words to a word list, but the only instructions
https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747331-Word-List
has for adding lemma via the Add Lemma box is:
“You can also add individual lemmas by entering them in the Add Lemma box at the bottom of the Word List panel.”
So I tried the following:
Repeated steps 1-3a from above, then:
4. in Add Lemma, typed and entered “g:bios’
5. Drop down list appears
6. clicked on “βιος life” in drop down list
and there is where it goes wrong.
7. a. “βιος life” is not added to the “Add Lemma” box
b. Drop Down list stays on top of Word List (Have to close & reopen Logos to clear)
After closing & reopening Logos, find:
b. see “g:bios” is added to the Word List as if it were the Lemma, not “βιος”
c. no entry under “Gloss”
