Not Happy With Latest Version

I accidentally hit the "x" on one of my open resources and wouldn't you know it, it can no longer be found, nor can I bring Logos up to like it was yesterday, like what other software would do. I have searched high and low on my HD of my Mac, without luck.

Rick - I am not fully following your issue. I know that you accidentally closed a resource, but am a bit lost at your issue(s) beyond that.

The resource? What resource is it? Is your library filtered in any way? Can you provide a screenshot?

Have you viewed the layouts menu? The app does save states, especially when the app is closed.

You should never have reason to search your hard drive to open your resources. The library is indeed hidden on Mac, but 1) this is not new and 2) it is because of a change in the macOS about 5-6 years ago.

One thought is Tools => History (hovering mouse over a resource has pop-up, which is helpful when name of resource is elusive)

Clicking History entry reopens that item: resource, search, library, ...

Try any of the following - come back if more instructions are needed:

Immediately after the tab is closed, the tag menu or CNTRL+SHFT+T should get you the resource
Using the right side auto-saves of the layout menu (on tool bar) should get you the resource depending upon how you use Logos
The history tool should always be able to provide the resource, if you recognize it
Notes or clippings tied to the resource will lead you to it
Last resort is a basic search on all resources using words you think you remember from the resource
