Getting the device's name from within the app

Is there a place within the Mobile app where I can see my device's name on which the app is installed? It's a new phone and I want to change the name to something a little more user friendly at https://www.logos.com/account/devices, but I want to be positive of the device before I make the change. Thanks!

Hi Lew:

Try downloading an odd resource you wouldn't have on other devices and then check the Devices section of the desktop app information for that resource to indentify the name.

Thanks for the suggestion, Robert. But in another post I reflect troubles with getting the desktop app to update changes made to resource on devices. But maybe the server issues FL reported is the cause of it all.

This isn't a help right now, but it is important to have good maintenance there, else you run into a situation where you don't know what is what. Deleting old devices is a good place to start. When you add a new device, make sure to name it appropriately. For example, here is my nomenclature: JT’s iPad (2019) [Stable Build]. Here is why I chose to name it this way:

JT's does let me know that its mine, but I am the only person using the account. However, when new devices are added, they DON'T say "JT's," so if it has my given name, I know it is new.
iPad lets me know what kind of device
(2019) lets me know which specific one
[Stable Build] lets me know if it is the beta or stable installation. If you use more than one app, I'd suggest adding in that info also (i.e. [Stable Verbum Build])

For the mobile apps, you should feel free to delete them ALL so that you can decipher which one is which. When you open up the app, it will rebuild itself. This may be a problem if you have downloaded your entire library, but again that is one of the reasons I suggest judiciousness.
