When I do a search for a term, I see the generated list of verses that include that term. Currently, the verse opens on an already open tab. I don't want my open tabs to change when clicking links. I want new tabs to open.

If you "drag" the search result to a new location on the screen it will open a new tab there with the search result shown
Thank you. I can confirm this works. I also found that if I hold SHIFT and click it opens an undocked tab. Neither are my preference, but I can get used to it.
You can also open a resource (Bible), open the panel menu (kebab or 3 dots stacked vertically), select "send hyperlinks here" and your search results will go to that panel and not disturb your layout.

Thank you. This also works, but when I do a word or phrase search and want to open multiple verses, clicking links will not open multiple tabs. All links will open on the specified tab.
