Subject:etc

In the library pane if you type "subject:etc" you obtain a wonderful list of unrelated books.

I don't think the "metadata" (I think that's the technical tem) tag is particularly useful!

Will the details of these tags be reviewed and made more useful / user friendly before final release?

I find it plenty useful with the right keywords. What did you expect to find with "etc"?

subject:"church history" gives me a good list of books on church history. Just typing in "church history" gives too much.

I agree that some books need better subject lists. And I find a lot of typos in those that have good lists. (Like "Pilippians" in the subject list for Carson's Basics for Believers: An Exposition of Philippians). The subject lists are already built into the resources. They were there before Logos 4. The "type" categorization is also very useful, but it too has some errors.

I use the following to define my Church History Collection:

subject:"church history" OR (type:dictionary AND subject:christianity)

Hi Todd

I was trying to find a particular reourse and was looking under the subject heading and found that one of the tags was "etc" so I thought, how many resources have this tag.

I didn't count them but there were a fair few!

I thing you will find more interesting variations in the tags as has been reported by others.
