The Transition from Wordsearch to Logos

I used the Wordsearch Bible for years. I retired a year ago. I tried to open my wordsearch app on my Macbook pro. It said that the developer needs to update the app. I realize there has been a complete transition to logos. What do I do to get to all the books I purchased? I also have an ipad and an iphone. What can I do on these devices? Where do I start?

Is it possible to create guides similar to WS 12 study guides? In WS 12, you could set up a window with 4 adjacent panes such as Bible, Strongs's, Interlinear and Search. That was an incredible tool. I've lost so much time trying to muddle through the vast amount of instruction screens yet I haven't found anything comparable to WS 12.

Got any suggestions? Please don't send me to the "getting started" option. I strck out there.

Have a look at Layouts in the help system. F1 should be your friend here.

Play with the preset ones.

Drag a tab around and see what happens

Not Mike... but I'll try to answer you (being a converted WordSearch to Logos person)....

Yes you can do what you want. In Logos it's called "Layouts" (see attached file)

when you get your screen laid out the way you want it... with the books you want open.... then click the "Layouts Icon" in the upper right of your Logos screen.... then Name the Layout. Then you can open that "Layout" by opening Logos... then clicking on the "Layout Icon" then clicking on the layout you named... and bingo, bango, bongo... magic happens ... and your screen will appear just like you saved it.

To change the screen and update it... just change the screen to the way you want it.... click on "Layouts Icon" and then click on "Update Active". It works great.

Edit: Something you find in Logos Forums.... everybody is will to help. I believe this "community help forum" is something that makes Logos great. Don't be afraid to ask any time about anything. You belong to a great community of helpful people! IMHO....
