iOS Reader Suite 9.10.0 (39) Stable Release Notes

The Mobile team is pleased to announce the 9.10.0 Stable release of the Logos, Faithlife Study Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Ebooks and Verbum apps. The apps should soon be available in iTunes.

If you discover any issues please open the Help menu and tap Report a Problem, and include the following information in your email:

Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred?
Reproduction Steps - Please clearly explain how to reproduce the issue.
App Info – Which app you are using (Logos Bible, Verbum, Faithlife Study Bible, Faithlife Ebooks or Biblia).
Device Info – (iPad Pro 9.7, iPhone X, iPad Pro 11", etc.)
iOS Version – (12.4, 13.1, etc.)

When downloading an audiobook, the associated audio files will also be downloaded.
Sermon Builder now offers a setting to enable or disable Scripture insertions while in a list state (iPad only).

Improved

The full size audio player now covers the entire screen.
Improved the chapter information in the full-sized audio player.
Skip 30 second audio controls were too small.

Fixed

Various sync issues in Sermon Builder (iPad only).
Cover image views of audio resources in the "Info" panel.
Library search when using quotation marks for an exact match, i.e. "morning and evening".
iOS 15 issue with keyboard shortcuts.
Issue affecting the syncing of the "Send Feedback" setting.
Topic Guide suggestions not working in other languages.
Inline search hit highlights in dark mode now readable.
Other minor bug fixes.

Thank you FL for always being on top of making fixes to your apps. I do have a question that I've been unable to figure out and why. It seems to me that both the Logos app and the Reader app are basically the same app. I don't see why have both. What am I missing?? I've used the Reader app on both my ipad and iphone and don't see any advantage to having the app verses using the Logos app to read my library or visa versa. To me they're both the same app. Can anyone enlighten me as to why having both apps on my devices that do the same thing, read books.

The FLEB app is just a reader and does not have all the features of the Bible! app. It is marketed towards a different audience. Some users find benefit in installing both apps on the same device, but it is not necessary. If you use the Bible study features, just use Bible! If you only read books and highlight, use FLEB.

Thanks JT understand a different audience. It just wasn't making sense to me to have both. I do use the Bible study features when I'm reading the Bible app.. Thanks for the response very helpful.
