Reading plans in the desktop app vs the mobile app

Hello,

I created a custom reading plan in the desktop app for my group. I read the ESV, and so the reading plan was pulled from the ESV text (although really all I did was type in the passages, so it seems like the translation is irrelevant). I noticed that on the mobile app, this plan is only seen in the ESV, but in the desktop app it shows up in any translation. Why is there a difference? Can this be fixed? It would be great to have the flexibility for people to use any translation they want in the mobile app to go through the plan.

The desktop app has a feature where notes and highlights can be shown in other versified and/or RI resources. Mobile does not have that feature.

Example: If you highlight the word "condemn" in the NIV at John 3:16, Logos can use the underlying "reverse interlinear" (RI) to highlight the word "judge" in the NLT in John 3:16.

I assume that you are able to see NIV reading plans in the ESV for the same reason. Mobile does not have this feature currently. It is unknown if it will come at some point.

I don't think so, actually. This functionality of custom reading plans does not depend on RIs (i.e. go over the underlying Greek text), but simply recognizes bible references as such. Thus the bible reading plans are independent of the version in the desktop application.

Desktop does not work that way for Custom Bible Reading Plans (in Windows at least). If no version is specified, the Plan is available in the VF menu of all bibles, but can only be read in versions that supports the passages. The Plan itself will open a reading in one's preferred bible whilst the Android mobile app gets stuck on the original Preferred bible even after it is changed!

Note that a Custom Plan will stay with the bible version of any Plan that is imported.
