New Mac install and my Passage Guide is broken - useless

I've just installed Logos 9 on a new MacBook and my Passage layout is not working. I don't get a Bible pane in the middle top, a commentary in the middle bottom, and no list of commentaries on the left.

It's like my Logos install is broken or something. Not even sure where to go for help because I've been using Logos for years and always when I've typed in a reference in the search bar on the top left it just auto-creates that "look" for me and I just go straight to studying the passage. I have no idea what's up.

Screenshots might help.

Did you allow time to index? Did you make sure that your resources did actually download (and that you didn't mistakenly choose a "skinny install"?)

I rebuilt the index. Made zero difference.

I did choose the option not to install all resources, but the last time I did that everything worked just fine. The Passage Guide on my iPad still works just fine. So I'm really confused about this behaviour on my MacBook. I guess I will just uninstall and reinstall and see what happens.

I guess it's a testament to the greatness of the normal default options that I've been using this program for years and never had to worry about settings or how stuff worked. I've just typed in my reference at the top search bar and all my commentaries appear in a list on the left, an open Bible in the middle, with an open commentary below it.

The commentaries section just says "No results." Really weird.

In Library, select Type > Bible Commentary in the Filter sidebar, then select Devices > This device. This will show what commentaries you have downloaded.

Otherwise, go back to the Type > Bible Commentary filter, select the commentaries you need, right click and select Download.

According to that, I only have 1 commentary downloaded to my MacBook.

So it seems you guys are saying that if I chose the minimal install when starting out, Logos is pretty much useless for my purposes. The minimal install is 6 GB whereas the full install is 26 GB, so I was saving some disk space.

But, I'm pretty sure when I installed on my previous MacBook, I chose the minimal install and everything worked just as it had for years with the full install. Kinda like the iPad version works--pulling stuff in from the internet that it needs and using storage space on the device for more commonly used stuff.

Doing what you said showed only one commentary.

I did a complete uninstall, then a complete (full) install, and everything now appears to be back to normal.
