Why are all my posts being referred for moderation?

Every time I post in the past couple of weeks my posts get referred for moderation. I don’t know if somebody objected to something I wrote. I don’t think I have ever breached the guidelines, am never critical or offensive, and don’t really disclose or advocate theological positions. I’ve been posting on the forums for over ten years, so it seems a little strange.

This seems to have happened to a few people lately. Perhaps some setting was tweaked.

Your post count has obviously been reset. Not sure if that's related.

Maybe he changed his email address. That happened to others when they changed their email.

That just happened to me last week when i changed the email address on my account: it made me a new person (not the good kind, but the untrusted kind).

I clear my cookies daily using the free ccleaner software and I'm guessing this is why this happens to me all the time.

I just whitelisted logos.com and faithlife.com on ccleaner, so I'll see if this reduces the times my posts are sent for moderation.

That is happening to me, and I have not changed my email account.

Nothing seems to happen when I click quick reply. My reply seems to be ignored. No message about being referred to moderator, using the quick reply.

I changed email several years ago, and am not particularly worried about getting the post count adjusted, but am concerned that all my posts are being referred for moderation.

You also seem to have lost your green Faithlife flame.

Happening to me too. We need a forum admin to look into this.

It was gone yesterday, but appears to have been restored.

This happened to me (and is still happening..) I think Faithlife trial triggered this. Once it was over I had a bit of a mess in my libraray (PBs I've deleted are no longer in PB tool but are still in the library and CAN be opened). I had to manually delete files drom Resource folder by hand and reindex. But, at the same time all my posts go thru moderation.

As the OP, could I return to my original question? I am still having every post referred for moderation, haven’t changed email address recently, and haven’t written anything offensive or strongly advocating a particular theological position (unless someone took offence at something I wrote, but I can’t see why that would be the case). Does anyone have any idea whom I need to contact to get this sorted out, please? It is a real pain.

GregW, Please accept my apologies that this has gone on for so long. You should find this has now been resolved.

Same thing is happening to me. It's unfortunate because it's taking so long for my posts to be approved that the discussion has since moved on and I don't get to engage in some discussion.

This is happening to me too; it started maybe a few weeks ago.
I haven't changed my email, or anything at all, as far as I know. I assumed I must have said something questionable.
Now I think maybe some setting were adjusted somewhere with unintended results?

Morgan and Maria,
Please accept my apologies. Some users have been experiencing this issue, we are doint our best to resolve it.

Thank you, Joe!
I'm grateful for all the work you put into this behind the scenes.

Yes this is still happening to me too, even though I've "whitelisted" (said to keep these cookies) both faithlife.com and logos.com in my cookie cleaner software called ccleaner.

happening to me as well

Greg and ReformedPilgrim,
I am sorry to hear that you have both been having problems with this.
I see no indication that your either of your posts are still being moderated.
If you need further help with this, please contact us at 1-800-875-6467 or customerservice@faithlife.com.

This happened to me as well and I ended up posting multiple times in error thinking it was something on my end.

Mine are still being referred for moderation, so whatever you did doesn’t seem to have worked, Joe.

Greg, please accept my apologies.
As an experiment, please reply to this post. I would expect that you are able to post without moderation now.

I am posting at 11:37am PST to see what's happening to mine.

What's happening with GregW is happening with me too. I've emailed Faithlife about it but haven't gotten a response. Is there a way to help me through here?

I guess this is the thread in which to complain about having forum replies sent to moderation jail?

We made a change this afternoon that we thought would improve the automated moderation system. We're not sure if it's working yet or not, but will keep monitoring it.

Let's see. I'm posting this at 6:43 PM Eastern Time on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

Unless you are intentionally sending my replies to moderation, I'm going to vote no on the "if it's working yet or not" question!!

Still getting this message...it is not a good thing if you have much forum experience over the web.

I rarely post any replies, however the last few times I have attempted to post a response to a question my post was sent to the moderator. I have no idea why. The last time I was just agreeing with someone about a course offered by logos. Maybe I shouldn't have quoted him. Anyway, I got a response stating that my post was being sent to the moderator to determine if it was appropriate. Really?? I seconded a recommendation for a logos course that I found helpful.
Yes, I am venting a little. For me, it's another reason to stop posting on the forums.

There have been, and still are, some teething problems since the move of the forums to new infrastructure.
Moderation only came at a time when the forums were hit by a hail of spam posts. At that point new(ish) ie low post count, members were referred to the moderator. I don't know how many posts you need to make to get off the 'moderator's' list but it seems that the system is failing somewhat.
The referral is only caused by post count not content.

Thanks Mike appreciate and understand.
I only had maybe 100 or less posts. My other concern is they don't seem to come out of moderation. The first time it happened I was affirming someone else's post and it never did show up.
The post I made yesterday is a question I had concerning searching and was hoping to get an answer at some point. I guess my question is do they ever come out of moderation?
Also, how am I able to get this post through and not in any other place?
Thank you again for the quick response

This has gotten really old. Makes using this forum burdensome. I have a couple posts that are at least 48 hours old that have not shown up.

I appreciate your godly demeanor.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your patience on this.
We identified a problem (that was introduced during the server migration) that would have increased moderation for everyone with fewer than 100 posts (which is most of the people providing feedback on this thread [:S]). We just deployed a fix for that problem; fingers crossed, the moderation problems should all be resolved now.
