Just curious what ways people use to collect sermon ideas?

currently I collect them in individual apple note files, but I’m specifically interested in what ways your might compile your ideas inside of Logos.

Three ways I've tried experimenting within Logos:

Notes Tool - either put all my ideas in a dedicated notebook or tag the notes with "Sermon Idea"

Custom Label - Create a custom highlight and either name it "Sermon Ideas" that you can find through Search or make it into a label (Label: Sermon Idea, Attribute: Specific Topic)

Sermon Manager - Sermons without a delivery date are under the drill-down menu "Status/Idea." Just make sure you don't have a time range selected (This Year, Last Year, etc.)

My preference is through the Notes Tool with the Sermon Idea tag. Sermon manager doesn't allow hyperlinking to resources I would use in building the lesson, and the highlight/label way doesn't let me leave notes as to how I would use the highlighted material in a lesson. Ideally I would like to use the Sermon Manager for everything sermon related, but it doesn't fit my needs currently.

I use the Favorites tool. I have a Sermon Prep top-level folder in there, and inside that I have folders for each sermon idea. Then I can drag articles or notes or whatever else I find that's relevant into that folder.

I previously used Apple Notes, but now switched to Dropbox Paper. Better syncing between Windows browser and iphone. Good old copy and pasting from various resources (English & Chinese; Logos and non-Logos).
