Lots of whitespace on the homepage with non-standard aspect ratio

I keep my windows ribbon on the right side of my screen of my netbook. This leaves quite a bit of whitespace on the homepage. Today's homepage had an incredible amount of white space (one of the pages was 75% white space). See the video at the following URL to see it (note also all the extra space to the left of the reading plan at the top):

I have had the same anomaly for a couple days. I tried closing a bunch of programs I run in the background but it had no effect on my homepage display. I was hopeful this morning's download would address the issue but it still appears similar to your video. I wonder what is up?

I'm not having the issue with the extra white space when my taskbar is on the right, except on the last page, of course, but I don't have a netbook. I do see that the space to the left of the first ribbon feature gets larger when it's on the right. I'll report that to see if there is a way to prevent it, and include a link to this thread for your video.

Hi Jacob,
The whitespace in the home page content is a known issue caused by a bug in some of the technology we're using to fit the text on the screen. Each day's Home Page content is a little different size, so some days you will see the problem and some days you won't. If it's super bad one day, you can try resizing the window vertically slightly and it will probably lay out a little more nicely (or at least, differently [:)]).
As per the ribbon's whitespace, we try to fit as many "features" in the top right as possible without overlapping the top-left portion (the "go" box, your username, etc). You'll notice as you resize your window horizontally, the number of boxes will increase as you give it more room. In your case, it looks like Logos 4 thinks that it's just ever so slightly too small to add a second box. If you even shrank down the windows start menu down a little, you'd see a second box appear.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. The white space doesn't really bother me. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of it and could deal with it as you have time. It is far from a top-priority bug in my mind. Thanks again for your work.
