I like to read the biblical text one-verse-per-line. And still see chapters and the non -biblical text. But I see that in visual filters I do not achieve it. Are these mutually exclusive options? Un gran saludo!

I seem to be a contrarian tonight. It doesn't strike me as any odder that chapter/verse numbers or footnote indicators. I take "Bible text only" as meaning that the options apply only to Bible text ... for some odd reason that I ran into within the last couple of weeks, pericope headings are considered "Bible text". I didn't buy the rationale but assumed FL knew their customer base better than I do.

Roger, to clarify, when I click all of those boxes, I get one verse per line, but also get chapters (shown like verses as 3:1 for example) and non Bible text. Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

I'm sure they is what it means. I just interpreted it as saying it would show only biblical text, and so a sub option that seems to say the exact opposite of the heading seemed a little odd. But once you know it is there it is no big deal.

I do not have the 1995 version of Reina-Valera.
I looked on line and it appears that the on-line version has pericopes (the headings) as does two of the bibles you pictured.
So I guess my question is can you show us a screen capture of the Visual Filters settings for the Reina-Valera 1995?
pictured are my settings for the 1960 version and the "switches" operate as expected.
If I had to guess I would surmise that the "Non-Bible text" box is un-checked. I just want to be sure we aren't overlooking the obvious.

Thank you for the clarification. That makes sense. Pericope headings "belong" to a Bible verse milestone e.g. in the NRSV "Lot's Captivity and Rescue" is Genesis 14:1 which matters for note anchoring.The pericope title should not be visible, however, when selecting "Bible Text Only" in a Visual Filter because its not, strictly speaking, Bible text even if it does belong to a Bible milestone.

Unless you have turned on the "Non-Bible text" option. Yes, it's a little strange that it sounds like the opposite of the visual filter name. It's an extra feature to support people who just want to turn off some of the other settings without losing things like pericope titles.

Is all of this documented somewhere within Logos/Verbum?
The help file covers the "Bible text only" visual filter in detail in the section on Visual Filters.
I guess the gap in RVR60 is due to BIG chapter number, which disappear when "Bible text only" is disabled. And here comes my confusion and strange things. The LBLA keeps its One-verse-per-line in both cases, when Bible text only is disabled and when is not. So I started to look for the same behavior in RVR60 which is my fav Bible to teach. Whatever the situation, it seems to me that the behaviour of the functions in Texts should be devoloped under standards. English versions looks great!

This may demonstrate what you describe. Note that the green highlight shows that a note attached to verse 3 appears directly in front of verse 3. However, when I attached the three yellow notes to verse one, they did not appear in front of the number 1, but rather appeared in front of the pericope heading. This always worked this way, going all the way back to L3.
I have never appreciated this inconsistence in where the notes Icon is place. I think, as some do, that placing the Notes icon at the end of the verse would be better....
But that's one man's opinion.... [8-|]
