Inconsistency in "clickability" of hyperlinks in in-Bible Note preview popups between Mac and iOS

Anyone know why, when reading a Bible with notes displayed, when I tap any note icon on iOS, the note preview that pops up shows HOT hyperlinks that I can follow, but when I open the same popup preview on Logos 9 on macOS, the link is COLD (not clickable)? This means that to follow the link on macOS I have to click to open the note in the Note tool and then follow the link there, which is cumbersome. Screenshots of what I mean are below.

On iOS, if I tap on the note icon and bring up the preview, the links are hot and clickable (notice they are blue):

On macOS, however, if I hover over the note icon, the links in the popup preview are not clickable (notice they are grey). If I click on the note icon, it takes me to the note in the Note tool:

My reason for caring about making this less cumbersome is I'm trying to add my own cross references to the Bible.

What translation are you using and which Bible reference are you viewing? Is what you are observing independent of translation?

I'm using ESV, but the problem is translation-independent--it occurs regardless of which translation I use.

If you click the footnote indicator the popup should stay in place. If you hover over the Bible verse citation you should get a preview, if you click on it you will be taken to the verse in your highest prioritized Bible. This is the same for all Bibles on the desktop version. The footnote indicators can be toggled on and off in Visual Filters icon (three dots arranged in a pyramid).

This is a personal note, not a footnote embedded in the resource. It is toggled under "Notes and Highlights" in the Visual Filters menu. What you describe works as expected for embedded footnotes, but not personal notes.

If I click the note indicator, it opens that note in the Notes Tool. If I do the same on iOS, it behaves the same as embedded footnotes (like you described), and opens a little preview window with a live link.

Ok, now your crystal and I have no ready explanation for the observed behavior. I thought all Bible references were live links, but apparently this is an exception. Maybe a MVP will now take note.

Windows behaves the same way as Mac. Mobile tends to be different, especially iOS.

On a similar note, the Corresponding Notes feature seems to be desktop only--my highlights and notes don't transfer between translations on iOS.

Can anyone confirm this behavior?

Correct. It is not a current feature of mobile.
