How to insert short form hyperlink to a Bible verse
I am aware that to insert a reference to Hebrews 11:1, I can enter He 1:1 into my BIble notes.
My question is what syntax can I use in my notes so that after I have specified as passage like Hebrews 11, I can then refer to specific verses and have these show up as clickable links without repeating the reference to the book name, or even chapter name.
eg, how can I making the following clickable hyperlinks to Hebrews:
11:1
or verse 1
I have seen this done in reference documents in Logos 9, but don’t know how I could create these in my own notes, or if it is possible as an end user to do so.
Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Richard.

- Click and drag to temporarily highlight the word "here."
- Press [Ctrl+K] or [Cmd+K] or click the linked-chain icon
- In the dialog that appears, type "Hebrews 11:3" (without the quotes).
- Either click Save in the dialog or press [Enter].
- You will see the word "here" change color to indicate that it now links to the verse.
Hello, Richard:
If you have some text like this:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet (here), consectetur
And you want to make "here" the hotspot to link to Hebrews 11:3,
Thank you Jack.
That post was very helpful. I checked and it works well on my Windows PC version of Logos.
Are you aware if there is an option to do this on a mobile device? I tried CTRL-K and CMD-K on my iPad mobile app, and it doesn’t seem to work. I also can’t find an option to add a hyperlink from the mobile app.
