Does anyone know of origin stories of the middle east. Ie egypt

One of the points it makes is that Mesopotemia accounts don't account for a monotheistic creator; Egyptian do, along with concepts of 'heaven and earth' etc.
The book also covers other OT/Egyptian connects.
