David, I was writing my last response before I read your last post  there may be some overlap or redundancy in my comments that wouldn’t be there if a I had read it first

Well, now MJ's comment of "up to 30" comes into play. I used to tell my classroom kids that some 12-year-olds can be more responsible than some 40-year-olds...physical maturity does not equate to intellectual and emotional maturity. Where FL is concerned, does any of this matter? To what extent can they possibly account for the vagaries of their audience? I suppose they could create a portal that is specifically for a younger crowd if they feel a compelling need, but that seems like a significant burden. I'm not sure if I've ever encountered public websites that have age-specific portals. Of course, any such portal would only account for physical age, not intellectual age. As is so often the case, when people attempt to nit-pick such issues, each nit picked seems to result in 3-4 unforeseen others with their own drawbacks. At some point folks need to acknowledge and accept that "a perfect world" is not our world, and that is actually a fact established by YHWH's design. He subjected it to futility and frustration on purpose. Being hostile to our hostile world is acting contrarily to YHWH's purposes. What He has asked of us is that we order our own private space, not the world at large. (Yes, to some extent that is a generalization as well...generalizing is permanently inescapable).

I still don’t know how to put someone else’s quotes in a blue box

If you want to put a person's entire comment in a quote box, just place your cursor where you want to insert the quote and then click the word "Quote"...the box will be created at your cursor. If you just want to quote a particular piece or section, highlight that part and then hit Quote. The highlighted section will be inserted at your cursor.

David explained part of it, but let me start from scratch. The FIRST thing you have to do is to reply to one particular user's post rather than use quick reply. When you "reply," the users post will be shown above while you compose your message. There is a "quote" button. If you press it, the ENTIRE post gets quoted (which is sometimes helpful). More often, however, it is better to select a portion of the user's post before hitting the quote button. By doing so, only that bit you want to refer to is used. Repeat as necessary.
