I created hundreds of notes in Windows L3, and now use Mac L4. How I can import the notes? I notice notes are now visible in a18. does this mean I can access my old notes?

The only reason you would be seeing this is due to synced content. The Notes feature has not been integrated yet into the Mac version.
thanks Tommy, I thought I'd understood from the a18 release notes that the notes feature was at least partially installed. hopefully this is a precursor to a fully fledged notes feature in mac soon.
