Logos - Money Pit?

I got tired of waiting on hold to speak with a Logos rep.... Smile
Basically, I'm having trouble getting my two Logos 9 packages, General and Messianic, up to 10 Silver. Maybe it's my fault. The reason I work this way is because of my limited income.

In the past, when a new level of Logos came out I've upgraded what I call my data sets first to the highest level I could afford. I guess Logos calls them Feature Upgrades. It's everything but the books. So that's where I started. As I recall, I was able to upgrade my Logos 10 data package to Platinum - or so I thought! As I look at my order history, I ordered Logos 10 Feature Upgrade. Huh? It didn't mention Platinum or even Gold. Undaunted, next I upgraded my Messianic package to Bronze followed with an upgrade of it to Silver. Only thing left was to bring General up to Silver. That will have to wait till more money comes in.

Now I'm disturbed! Logos' web page suggests I upgrade my Silver Feature Upgrade package for $64.20! The package I first upgraded! Doesn't Logos know what packages I already own? Upgrades are off until Logos straightens this out!

Sorry, Gerry for your frustrations. I share them. I decided, since my install continues so buggy, to just get a cheapo-features, and call it a day. Who knows, after 15 years of FL.com peculiarities.

But! I'm absolutely confident some forumites will explain. You probably missed the little button on the Logos web page, for forumite explanation. Just joking.

You can just wait on CS to help you or post some screenshots of your order history along with the screenshots of pages of the upgrades you're trying to purchase.[:(]

There is some confusion about your Feature Upgrade. Full is the highest - there is no Platinum. You will get Full Features with a Gold Standard upgrade (books) under some circumstances. But you need to chat with Customer Service to clarify your situation.

I'm normally a "Silver" base package person and it keeps getting upgraded with each major software release, to the extent that it will cost me more than $110 (books). But I have no desire for what is offered there, nor is the Full feature set a real need (I will be happy with the Silver Features).

Dave! Good to hear from you! Yes, I finally discovered that. The confusion is in Logos' terminology. Oh well, the Full Feature doesn't seem to offer anything I need so I'll stay where I am.

On another subject, I wanted to add a book to my pastor's Logos level for Pastor's Appreciation Month, but ended up on hold for a loooong time. Oh well.......
