Logos Failing to Open

When starting Logos, the square Logos logo pops up for a shorter time then usual, disappears, and then Logos does not open. If I retry, then the logo pops up and disappears faster (it blinks).

I've restarted my computer and tried the Crtl + Start Logos trick. That hasn't worked either.

Hi Daniel,

Sorry you are having this problem! If you look at the task manager, does it show Logos running in the background? It would also help if you could submit log files. If you are not sure how to do this, there are instructions here: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files Then just attach them to a forum post.

The Task Manager doesn't list Logos as open.

Great, Daniel, thank you. Unfortunately, it looks like Logos has not even booted up enough to generate logs. The last error is from the 19th.
My next thought would be to download the installer and run it again. If everything else is working fine, something has probably gone wrong in your installation of Logos. Since the forum is made up of other users, you might also want to send an email to cs@logos.com and get into their queue.

I went ahead with the advice to reinstall and Logos seems to be up and running again!

My OS is Windows 11.

I am glad that it is fixed! Sometimes installation files just get messed up and it is easier to replace them than to hunt the gremlins down.
