Hi:
I've just moved from Libronix 3 to Logos 4 and have some concerns about the Notes feature in Logos 4, which I use extensively
1) When I right click on a reference, I used to be able to add a note to a note file that was already in existence; now in Logos 4 I see no option to do that unless I manually open the note file first. Is there any easy way of attaching a note to a reference and adding the note to a note file, without manually opening it?
2) When I type my note into the note file window the system is extremely slow. The cursor does not keep up with my typing; there is a lot of disk activity as I type, and many times I get 2 or 3 words ahead of the cursor. This is obviously unacceptable. I'm running Logos 4 on a Dell Latitude D830, 2GB RAM, 2.4 GHz Dual Core processor, 35GB free disk space, XP SP3. Is there something I can do to improve the performance? The other functions in Logos 4 are somewhat sluggish sometimes, but nothing like when I try to create notes.
Thanks for your help
Jon
