Is it possible to save a search as a passage list and retain the corresponding highlights displayed in the search? When I save a search as a passage list I lose the corresponding highlights.

No, one can search the passage list but all the passage list contains are the references. Searches of the text "fail". The text shown is retrieved from the book as the panel display is built.
