I recently purchased the Logos 10 upgrade, as I was reviewing the features I found:
“Interactive Media: Names of God”
When I looked for the name Father I found that it was not included.
"The Names of God interactive lists the ways that God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are referred to, according to Faithlife’s referent dataset. Facets include language, speaker, literary type, and people/places/things also mentioned in the verse.”
It is divided into 3 categories
God
Holy Spirit
Jesus
Looking at the description for the, Interactive Media: Names of God, it seems like the compiler has not taken a Trinitarian view of God when compiling the dataset or the list hasn’t been completed yet.
When looking at the entry; God –Mighty God there is no reference to Isa. 9:6 His name shall be called Mighty God.
When looking at the entries for Theos under the category- God; it doesn’t list the Septuagint entries until it reaches the Apocrypha.
When looking at the category Jesus,
Son of Man. Rev 1:13 is not listed in the verse list, under Son of Man.
That Rock was Christ 1Cor 10:4 does not show up.
There should be a category for The Father; the insinuation from the way this is formatted and the introductory paragraph is that the category; God, is referencing the Father exclusively not the Triune God.
