NICOT Psalms

So I am worried about using the Psalms NICOT volume due to it being authored by 3 different commentators. What is the scope of the commentary and do the authors all agree? I like to see one author write their own commentary.

I agree with DAL. But there are several good Psalms commentaries in addition. EBTC is also very good.

I would like to point out that:

the prayer cycle of the Oriental Orthodox Churches recite all 150 psalms (or more depending on their canon) every day
a modern synagogue recites all 150 psalms every week
the Eastern Orthodox Churches recite all 150 every week
the Western Catholic rites until recently also recited them every week (or two weeks for the Ambrosian rite) but now is on a monthly cycle
the Huguenots and some other early Protestants used a monthly cycle

I would suggest that early commentaries and non-Western commentaries often have a depth to them as a result of this intense familiarity with the psalms that Western academic commentaries pale beside.
