3 Сей, будучи сияние славы и образ ипостаси Его и держа все словом силы Своей, совершив Собою очищение грехов наших, воссел одесную престола величия на высоте,

Chapter 1
1 God, many times and in various ways spoke to our forefathers through the prophets,
2 in the last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He made.
3 Who being the brightness of his glory and the image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4 Being made so much superior angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a name.
