OT - If you would be so kind

I hate to ask, and if this is out of bounds - please delete..

Some will know me from the many years of participating here, others won't... but I'm really struggling health-wise this year, sadly suffering multiple post-Covid complications.

If you could please pray for me, that God would either heal me or take me home, I would appreciate it..

if it is a choice, would prefer healing, so much more I would like to do, but am ready to go home, too..

Praying. From your profile, I see that you are only 53. Too young to go home yet, I think. I pray that God will heal you and give you the resilience to get through the complications one by one as they fall by the wayside, and if any challenges remain long-term, such as fatigue, that they would be bearable with an extra abundance of grace and courage that you would be granted.

Dominic, you're not alone; Love's got you. Nothing can separate you from this Love. Your FL family is praying for you. Make your request known to your whole family as wide and as broad as it may be.

Most of all pray to Jesus the Christ of God. He is our life, health and strength when we are weak through Him we are strong. God will get the glory from this. Praise Him in advance you're more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens you. Amen.

Dear Dominic,

My wife and I have just come through a bout with Covid. NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE! We both tested negative this week and yet the effects linger. No need to tell you as I'm sure you're experiencing the same, but worse.

It sounds like it's hitting you pretty hard. I wish I could do something - wave a magic wand and all would be good, but unfortunately, that doesn't work. So you'll have to ride it out.

I'm sure you're doing all the 'right' things. Taking vitamins, drinking plenty of lemon water and keeping your 'chin up.' Not a pleasant time.

To be honest Dominic, I'd like to say that I'll be praying for you, but I'm not sure that will help. It's just one of those things this side of Glory that we all have to go through - whether it's Covid or something else. However, you are and will be on my mind.

How are you feeling now? If you're still struggling, I counsel you to visit with your PCP (Primary Care Physician) to discuss the possibility of Paxlovid therapy for Long COVID symptoms. There is some evidence that this can be effective for those who have not completely cleared the virus.

The evidence for this is still in its early stages as studies for this population are still limited. But, you can discuss risk versus benefit with your physician. I pray this information will benefit you.

Update: 10/05/2023

Well, good news in that my x-ray anomaly result came back as non-cancerous after my CT scan HALLELUJAH!

The caveat is my doctor still can't answer the question of what the cause/root needing dealt with so not really any further forward, except ruling out the big C.. more bloods taken for tests today, and more specialist referrals.. but a load lifted, thanks for your prayers
