Batch Edit Notes?

I started on Logos about 10 years ago. That said, my notes are an absolute mess. Please tell me there is a way I can batch edit my notes! I have thousands!

what I want to do in particular is be able to batch change icon (for all notes in a particular notebook say), and also send all notes from one notebook to another notebook. Is this possible? Or do I have to spend a workweek worth of time sending each individual note to its proper notebook with the appropriate icon? 😬

And if you look at the screenshots in that section of the article you should see the option to batch change notes icons, etc, when you have multiple notes selected.

Notes is one of my favorite tools of Logos. One of the things I do, as others do also, with my notes is, I chain a lot of them together.

For example.. here is a standard format for a note I use to study with non-Christians.

Every Note has a heading (i.e. "SFT 1-6"), which it the topic. And every Note is in a Notebook and every Notebook has only 1 icon has and every Note has one or more tags,

I find the "Next" and "Prev" helps me track my study in that particular topic. And as you can see... next to the "Next:" and "Prev:" I also have the next and prev verse. Hyberlinks don't work in Mobile app yet... but the next and prev scripture does.

I have many topics which I've worked out over the years... as many have done.

I find that with this set up I can search my notes many different ways... by heading, by Next:verse.. etc.

There are probably better ways and maybe I'll learn one of them... but right now this "chaining" helps me in my studies.

I don't mean to hijack the conversation, but I've been looking for something like this on the forum, i.e. tips and examples about using notes.

I'm coming over from Bibleworks, which handles notes differently. In BW you can have a single note for a verse, a single note for a chapter, but multiple notes that aren't related directly to the text. I'm used to having a "central" note that then has hyperlinks to other notes, so I'm used to doing something like you're doing here.

Thanks for sharing this. Having a topic heading is something I hadn't thought of, likewise the next and previous links.

Do you have any other useful tips and tricks you'd be willing to share?
