Where am I supposed to go to find the span (start and stop points) of the Longacre genre coding (data type)?
It may help to know that range testing can find those points e.g. label.longacreGenre:(primary:longacreGenre:"Behavioral: Evaluation" AND secondary:longacreGenre:"Behavioral: Hortatory") in a Books Search for a bible:
There are no results for Rev 1 and the result for Rev 3 shows it occurs 1x at Re 3:1 and the bible has a highlight for vv.1-22 (the whole chapter).
Searches for Rev 2:2-3:21 and Rev 2:1-3:21 also show something about the boundaries.
That is a big help Dave ... at the very least it can verify what I've guessed from highlighting. But it appears to find a label at the start of every chapter or pericope even if it is a continuation of the same story.
Okay, I finally realized that for the labels, the Concordance guide section gives me the information. It is the datatype that I can't find the boundaries on. Thanks for helping me think this through this far, Dave.
I remembered doing a range Search for another datatype, but the Concordance will show both start and end points e.g. with Rev 2:12 Search states 1x at v.12 and highlights vv.12-29. Using that range in Concordance will show 2 boundaries (2:12-17 & 2:18-29). So you need both tools as an input of Rev 2:12 in Concordance will only show the first boundary (2:12-17). And it will show what Genre lies in the gap with an input of Rev 2:8.
