For the uninitiated, character highlighting is in the settings ... highlight by character, word, or 'smart'. I really don't need character highlighting ... it always grabs just part of a word, when highlighting a sentence or phrase. I assume it's designed mainly for OL.
But as it turns out, I DO need character highlighting. On right-clicking a word, the lookup doesn't know how to find the dictionary form. Understandably. Though, in search, it does know how to find 'cipher' from 'ciphers'. I assume a callable utility.
And so, 'ciphers' is unknown in right-click. I knew what a cipher was (for secret coding); just not exactly a cipher (symbolic translation?). Turns out, 'no weight' or 'zero'.
Interestingly, the mobile can lookup 'ciphers'. I'm guessing iOS is doing it. Android probably can't?
EDIT: this got into the beta forum; It's near to the desktop forum (but not a sub for the desktop forum, where 'you'd think'. But not the files forum. Of course).
