I wonder if some of you guys with experience in languages could help me out a bit. I just finished first year Greek, using Mounce's Basics of Biblical Greek. I'll be going on to Intermediate Greek using Wallace's "mule-choker" of a grammar.
At the end of Mounce's course he recommends that students think about getting an analytical lexicon for help with odd forms and rare words in passages. He gave three recommendations:
- His Analytical Lexicon to the Greek New Testament
- Zerwick's Grammatical Analysis of the Greek New Testament
- Rogers's New Linguistic and Exegetical Key to the Greek New Testament
I searched the Logos site and found none of those. Hence my post... and my question...
Is there a similar tool in Logos Bible study software? I have the Platinum package but have not yet begun to use it. I just don't have the time, yet. Logos forms part of my third-year Greek exegesis studies, so with all the rules, vocabulary, and paradigms I've been chewing on... along with ministry responsibilities... I haven't had time to learn Logos.
I don't want to buy paper (books) if Logos will do much of this kind of thing for me. But, I'm so ignorant of what the software will do that I wanted to write a quick post and ask for help.
Thank you in advance.
