I reported this before BUG: Incredible Context Menu dependence on verse number?? - Logos Forums but the point was missed. Let me try again to point out the obvious problem that makes the tagging appear unpredictable and therefore not trustworthy for analysis. This matter because the Logos design forces many tags to the start of a verse rather than their natural position.
If I put the text in one verse per line which I never do in real life things work correctly. I can highlight leading spaces and the verse number like so.

and on right click Logos automatic ignores the non-Bible text

If I put the text in normal form and select beginning at the first letter of the first word, on right click things work as expected.

But if I include the leading space or the space and verse number, the context menu is stripped of much of its content. This is a serious problem in terms of building user expectations and trust so that the app is understandable -- and it terms of the user finding tagging information outside of an unnecessary search.
