I've never used Bible Sense Lexicon before. Is Louw Nida required? Is there a distinction between the two? What lexicons cover the grammatical function of words in the New Testament?
Good grief! Did my answer in another thread provoke this question? If so, I know you spent no time trying to find the answer yourself.
The Bible Sense lexicon is well documented - it is an implementation of what is known as a word web which is well documented on the web on academic sites. These sites have links in the BSL documentation IIRC
The Louw Nida lexicon represents a different approach to the relationship between words - it works within the semantic domain theory. I don't know documentation off the top of my head ... reaches too far back in my educational history.
Basic starting point:
What lexicons cover the grammatical function of words in the New Testament?
Lexicons don't cover grammar. And, in general, you should be more interested in semantics than grammar.
Analytical Lexicons usually do this.
