I've discovered that changing the text size (I used Command+ and then Command-) corrects it:
Scrolling causes it to "break" again.
Hi Gregory, thanks for catching this. I'll take a look and see if I can reproduce.
If it helps, it appears to happen when Text Effects is used to create the glow, and not when Background is used.

This issue has been resolved in 28.3.
