Canceled Connect BUT the books, all 143 of them, are continually trying to download with out succes

My free 15 day subscription expired several days ago. But now the books are trying to down load (with out any success) and making Logos very sluggish. https://connect.faithlife.com/product/168692/faithlife-connect-premiere

Of course I have tried to cancel the down load. See the screen shot below.

Any ideas of what is going on, did not do well with CS yesterday.

I even tried rebuild index.

The problem does not show up on my android phone, and it does not show up when I start Logos with out internet connection.

Strange behavior to say the least.

Open your Library in Details view.

Right click on any column header and turn on the "License" column if it isn't on already.

Then that column will show what sort of license each book in your library is, whether Permanent or Temporary.

Sorry, where do I find that info.

Open your Library in Details view.

Thanks Rosie, forgot how to show those usually unwanted details. A few years ago I unclicked many of those extraneous details.

But my problem is still that they are not really available too download on my PC.

Note the twirling disk of death for each of the 144 books.

I will suggest two options to you that have worked for me in the past:

1) Hide the books that are stuck in the download process. Reboot. Unhide.

2) Delete your UpdateManager folder and DownloadManager folder, then restart Logos.

Both of these have fixed download issues for me in the past with a never ending spinning circle.

I know there's such a thing as removing last months temporary unlicensed books but what is the command? I've done a search for it and it's beyond me to find it.

It's delete unlicensed resources, see https://wiki.logos.com/Delete_Unlicensed_Resources for more info

then I'd try Mattillo's suggestion if necessary

I tried the DELETE UNLICENSED RESOURCES the other day, did not seem to work, will give it another try after the latest download is finished.

PTL, don´t know which of the above suggestions did the trick, but I am back to 35 books that I do not own.

All this fooling around caused me to look at Blacks Commentary, found it in a Legacy Lib. and got it for 25 bucks.
