Exporting search results: Not supported?

When I have search results tap and I go to Export / Print, the window that opens just says:
"This panel does not support printing or exporting yet."
This is a very serious missing feature that should be enabled as soon as possible. Exporting search results is a very important part of any Bible program. Really, the core functionality of any Bible program is to search a Bible and then print the search results. All of the other bells and whistles don't matter much if you can't do this. I cannot believe Faithlife released version 10 without allowing printing/exporting of search results in Bibles.
I was caught by surprise last night while teaching a seminary Hermeneutics class. The students are working on a word study project that is due next Monday. They must search for a Greek word in the New Testament and then save their search results to a Microsoft Word document. Then they take notes on the meaning of the Greek word in each verse in the table that Logos sends to Microsoft Word. A major version change mid-semester is confusing enough for students. But to remove this basic functionality really is messing up my teaching. It also reflects badly on Logos, which I promote heavily in all of my courses and require that they use for assignments.
The workaround I found is to save the Bible search as a passage list and print / export from there.
It is true that this is a good plan B. I showed the students how to do this last night, when the export of the search results failed. But a Passage List does not highlight the search terms, so it is more time consuming to the the project, particularly with a reverse interlinear Bible, where the word can have many different translations.
*Please fix this major oversight (BUG, really) in Version 10.1.
Just an FYI - if it is not mentioned in the release notes and the threads reporting the issue have not been noted as fixed, one should assume that it is not fixed. If the issue is intentional, using the feedback site and votes is more effective that repeated references to the issue in the peer-to-peer forums.

I'm sorry, but the inability to export search results would have been a deal breaker if I had been aware of it prior to upgrading to v10. I've been a Logos user since somewhere around Logos 4, and unless I'm going crazy, I've had that feature or equivalent on much earlier versions. I just find it unbelievable that exporting search results would be considered a "feature request" at this point. I can't even save my search results as a passage list! When I first saw the "this panel does not support printing or exporting yet," I thought it was a momentary problem. Logos has so many features that are on the fringe of the fringe, yet it can't export search results. Unbelievable!
Thanks Graham for responding to my "whining." [:$]
I was running ver 22, and with the help of this thread, I discovered the print/export will work when the Search export is formatted for Grid. To cut down on confusion, we have to clearly distinguish the Search export format from the print/export format. Other support info I found suggests the print/export is more likely to work if the selected printer for print/export is MS pdf or MS XPS. That seemed to help me. Output to Excel is in XML, and XML is readable in Excel.
In the middle of the above, ver 23 came in, so I upgraded and that seemed to help even more, but still, the only search export format that will display on the print/export panel is Grid. None of the other search formats will display, but the good news is I got all of the other search formats to output even though the print/export panel was blank. At this point, I don't know reliable it will be.
Logos turns out some beautiful search results and it's maddening when they cannot be easily exported. It's really nice with the color coding is captured in exported. I've gotten that on some exports, but it's hit or miss. HTML exports is the most reliable for the color coding.
Thanks!
Use the add versions under the title, the passage list contains only the references. It looks up the content.

Maybe I am not understanding but I export search results all the time. Example: Strongs:g26 has 116 occurances. I then click the little box with the up arrowl and click passage list. I can view it in "Full" or "Compact". You can then select all, right click and copy. I can then paste in Word or Excel or anything that will accept PASTE. Am I not understanding what you want in export?
It's not supported yet, except (in Bible searches) for Grid and Analysis view modes.
Andrew Batishko | Logos software developer
Andrew Batishko, I am grateful for the word "yet!"
My wife Diane is the president of Classical Conversations Brasil, and I have accompanied her "heartburn" in getting things programmed for their platform, so I am sympathetic to the word "yet." Nevertheless, I am very much looking forward to the restoration of printing/exporting search results.
I see that exports are now supported, and they are working well.
Thank you, Logos!!!!
I must have missed something (running Logos on a Mac). When I want to export/print search results, I still get the window that says "This panel does not support printing or exporting yet." Any word on when this feature will be operational for the Mac software? Thanks.
I get that same thing in Windows. I'm running the software version 28.3.44. Andrew said this feature would probably release in version 25. Either it didn't, or it has regressed since then. Mark Ellis says he saw it working as of Aug 15, so I suspect something has happened since then to break it.
I should have been more clear. I did a:
books search
all books
searching heading text
all passages
and I was hoping to export/save the results of this search. This is where I get the “can’t do that” message.
Well, your name is David, after all. What do you expect from a computer? "I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that." [;)]
Back to having the sane people answer your question.... [:D]
