Maximum Number of Layouts?

Reorganizing some of my workflows using favorites and considering having a saved layout for each project. Is there a maximum number of layouts before performance might become an issues? Or any other ways you've kept on track with multiple projects over the long term?

Not that I'm aware of, but don't keep too many "backups" of your Saved layouts. You can delete Snapshots and reduce the number of Application Closed (keep a couple of the most recent).

Or any other ways you've kept on track with multiple projects over the long term?

I tend to use one saved layout for most of my studies/projects and garner books as needed from my tagging in Library or from Favorites under "Project" headings.

A more sophisticated way is to use Favorites with links to tabs (where you can re-use a single saved layout).
