Is there a way to sort notes in a notebook canonically when the 'Reference' choice isn't selectable?
I thought there was a way to do this, but I cannot remember.
What do you do when the "Reference" option is greyed out?
I think I figured it out. If you select "reference" under "filters" it should allow you to sort by reference.
Thanks!
Thanks, Dave.
I also found a hack. If you create a new notebook, then mass-move all the notes to it, it appears to sort canonically on its own. (I only moved notes from one book at a time...i.e., 112 notes from Romans, all mixed up, were sorted into c order when I moved them.)

Question for ... Doc B.... did you lose the individuality of the individual notebooks?

If you select Romans from the Bible Book Filter they will be sorted by reference!

It is an unnecessary hack as they will not be sorted another time when the new Notebook is selected!
