What functions of Logos do you use more?

What functions of Logos do you use more? I don't mean books or resources of your library, but actually what I call functions... such as Factbook, Clippings, Passage Lists, Advanced Timeline, etc. I am thinking that out of all the functions of the Logos program, you might only use a very few of the functions.... I would appreciate your answers.... Thanks!

I use Notes/Highlights, Clippings, Parallel Passages, and Copy Bible Verses the most.

And I also obviously believe in the Oxford comma. [:D]

It depends very much on what project I am working on at the moment so it is actually easier to list what features I NEVER use:

dark mode
reading mode/full-screen mode
community notes
memorization tool
self tests
visual copy
sentence diagrammer ... I would use but my external choice is SO much better
Greek and Hebrew keyobards
drawing mode
syntax search ... I appreciate it but I don't know the original languages
morph search document ... I appreciate it but I don't know the original languages
the counseling guide ... although I do own the resources supporting it
the theological guide ... I've never warmed to the LST behind it
the sermon guide ... the restriction to a single passage rather than a single set of reading is offensive
topics.logos.com ... the failed attempt for us to share web resources restricted to the Logos Controlled Vocabulary
courses section ... I do use the courses tool
Faithlife music section ... although I still want a fully supported label-based hymn section

Illustrations section ... now if it were populated with Anthony deMello and Mulla Nasruddin I'd be a huge fan

You can assume that everything else gets some usage, often heavy usage, when I'm on a particular type of project.

I probably should have added 'Layouts.' I use a lot of layouts...and save my current place in a task by updating the current layout.

1. Bible Word Study Linked to Bible.

2. Customized Passage Guide that combines some elements of the Exegetical Guide.

3. Cited By

4. Information Pane

5. Linked preferred Lexicon using multi view to include a few others.

6. Reverse Interlinears

7. Searching, all except clause and syntax, included send searches here

8. Tagging - my entire library

9. Collections - especially commentaries used in my custom passage guide

10. Layouts

11. Factbook

12. Custom Topic Guide

13. Bible Browser to find some more complex tagged items

I am sure there are more that I just use instinctively without thinking much about it.

I am not associated with Logos.... but..... One of the reasons I started this thread was for me to see and maybe learn how I'm not using Logos... and a 2nd reason was to hopefully have Logos people see how people are using Logos and what they are not using.

Although I don’t need to use them much now, my heavy use of things like Prioritisation*, Tagging, Library Search and Collection rules underpinned things like Passage Guide & Cited By when I first set Logos up and early use of them has left me much better set up going forward. it means that commentaries in Passage Guide, lexicons, Bible Dictionaries and so on all appear in the order I want them to in other tools and the Context Menu.

* I’m English: I can’t bring myself to spell it with a “z”.

4. Sermon Editor but I only copy and paste from Word into the sermon editor to present my outline with preferred Bible from the screen. I really don’t write my sermons there as it sucks and doesn’t have all the capabilities Word has.

7. And last but not least the Read Out loud feature! It’s amazing when you find the right voice for it 👍
