When I installed this update, it switched my theme from Light to System (which for me is Dark). So something in the update is causing the theme to be switched to System.

Thanks Kiyah, we are able to reproduce this and are looking into it.

This has been resolved in v31.1

After installing this update, the Logos Bible app crashes when I try to open a Bible from the Bible shortcut, or from any of the shortcuts that I set for the various versions that I read.  The app just closes.  I am running on an older Mac running Big Sur 11.7.

Mine is doing the same thing.

Thanks for the report. We are currently investigating this problem.

We have pulled 31.0 for now, since it is causing crashes on Mac, and we are working on a solution as quickly as possible.

If you need immediate assistance, you could try using the web app at https://app.logos.com/ - or you could contact support, and they will help you downgrade to 30.0.

This is what happens when an RC is released to stable without time to test it in the beta environment (the Desktop Beta forum).

Mac crashes are happening to me, too. Forgot to come look here in the Forum instead of repeatedly restarting until frustrated.

I really don't have time to contact Support...is a downgrade back to 30.0 something documented in the Forums? I'd prefer to self-support...anyone know?

31.1 resolved my issue as well. Thank you! The web app is nice, but nowhere as good as the Mac app!

Aghast! In my Bible word study guide, in the "textual searches" section, I don't see anymore the LXX (Septuagint) results search. Is it a problem of mine or is it one of the strange things that sometimes happen with logos updates? Please, give it back to me!

Aghast! In my Bible word study guide, in the "textual searches" section, I don't see anymore the LXX (Septuagint) results search.

    What word are you studying?

If it isn't in the LXX, the LXX won't show up in this section

If the word is in the LXX I'd suggest starting a new thread in this forum where we can look at this.

I'm dummy but not so much ... of course it is in the LXX as all the other words I tried

I'm dummy but not so much ... of course it is in the LXX as all the other words I tried

I apologise if I caused offence - that was not my intention.

I still see the LXX when the word is present there but not when it isn't

As above I suggest starting a new thread to explore this further.

I don't know whether λόγος is in the LXX, but it doesn't  appear

The Septuagint Translation section should have results for Logos LXX (it is closed in your screenshot).

LXX should appear in Textual Searches section, using your preferred Septuagint bible (whether Logos LXX or another).

So I'm wondering if you are on Mac (what version?). Also, Stop is not visible (in Windows) if the search has completed.

Does it work if you update to Logos 31.1?

Works for me on nMac/Verbum (this is Verbum 31.1):

The problem in Logos 31.1.24 is still there (Windows)

The problem in Logos 31.1.24 is still there (Windows)

Please show a screenshot with an open section for Septuagint Translation.

What is your preferred Septuagint bible?

    Better I give it up

Dave is just trying to help you diagnose the problem. Screenshots are helpful to do that.
