I've been using galaxy fold 4 for Logos and the software is good. Unfortunately samsung foldable phones commonly suffer from many problems. The most common are hinge issues and screen damage. I bought refurbished one from Giffgaff (UK) with 12-month warranty and after one month I couldn't fully unfold the phone. Giffgaff refused to fix the phone. I,ve found that it is a very common problem and that samsung samsung shouldn't have sold these phones as they knew about this issue. Will never buy anything from samsung again.
Few days ago I ordered Oppo find n3 global from wanda mobile as this phone is praised everywhere. Hope this time it will work for a long time.
Some time ago I also tried microsoft foldable phone (surface duo 2) but although it was good for Logos but I didn't like it as a phone so returned.
I am glad that you asked this. I do not expect to upgrade to this device, but hope to upgrade to to whatever 2nd generation foldable device that comes after it.
I haven't looked at foldable phones in awhile. There was a Fold 2 before the Fold 3, and Fold 4 might be out this fall? I won't be ready to afford that much by then. I guess I will buying about Fold 5.
I am gradually switching from Alexa to Bixby as my eyesight continues to deteriorate, and as Bixby on Samsung improves. No matter the cost, I figure I will have no choice but to update to the Fold 5 if things continue as I expect. Phones are like wheelchairs for some disabilities. It does not matter the cost.
I just found that Apple plans on releasing one somewhere between 2023-25… maybe I’ll try and hold out till then (I’ve used an iPhone for almost 10 years now). Guess it depends on how long my current phone will last me 😬…
