Exporting Logos 10 library and include link to resource

Hi.

I understand that in order to export the library to f.ex. Zotero, as in my case, I have to create a collection and export the collection. That's all well and fine. However, I would also like to export a link to the resource - the same link that is used and included in the footnote when I insert a citation in Microsoft Word. This way, I'm hoping to be able to import it into Zotero and click on it to open the resource in Logos.

Does anyone know how to include the link information in a library export..?

No. Link info will have to be provided manually. L4 links are to be preferred, but may not work from some external documents.

As Dave explained, there's no link included in the export. However, the export file (called library.xml) can be easily opened in your favorite spreadsheet application - I'm using Excel. You will find the first column containing the resource ID, such as LLS:9780310563228 or LLS:LETTERSASKEPTIC. A link to this resource will just remove the LLS: part and replace it with logosres: for an L4 link and with https://ref.ly/logosres/ for an URL link. So in my example you'd get logosres:lettersaskeptic and https://ref.ly/logosres/9780310563228 It should be easy to add a new column to the library.xml-file that does this for all your resources with a quick formula like ="https://ref.ly/logosres/"&RIGHT(A2;LEN(A2)-4) and dragging that down to automatically give the URL links for all your resources.

I see. I'm not sure L4 links are the best in my case, since I mostly use Linux, and the unofficial Logos on Linux doesn't open links. I think it's better to link to the URL of the resource.
