Answered Prayers being Taken out of the list too soon

I realize there may have been others to have made mention of this little problem. If there is please forgive me.

In my prayer list in the old Libronix format if I listed any answer to the prayer even a partial answer that didn't take the prayer out of the list it just kept going until I considered it fully answered and i could then put it in the answered list and then change the amount of times to repeat it to none.

the L4 prayer list (For which I am very thankful) changes the amount of times to repeat it the moment I put anything in the answer list.

Some prayers are ongoing like the one for my daughter, yet it will have many different things that I want to record as answers, such as her baptism this past month, yet if I put that answer in my prayer list it will take her name off the repeated list and put a green dot by it and list it as fully answered. is there anything that can be done to change that?

Hi Wesley,

I am not a developer so I can't say how this might be changed. A temporary workaround though is to simply add the information in the other box (the details section) instead of the "answered" section. This way you can keep updated "answers" but it wont drop off your active list.

I used my prayer list the same way. The partial answers to prayer let me see how God is working in the situation and builds faith and praise.

This has been requested previously and is being considered for a future release. One customer suggested a checkbox or button to mark as complete when they want to remove it from active prayer list, and another suggested a checkbox that says "Always show this prayer even if answered."

I think I agree with the first idea you mentioned. And I would think a checkbox would be fine with me; to mark it when I no longer wanted it listed. Perhaps, a choice of at least 2 checkboxes one for answered the other for just inactive to put it in the inactive list.

At least that way I could mark down the results of continued prayers and not forget the testimonies that go along the way as God shows His will!
