By no means am I a biblical scholar and much more an eternal student. In my studies, often author's or lecturers strongly encourage seeking out the "primary sources/primary texts" regards OT and NT topics. Actually I hear the "primary sources" term used most often as a means to become familiar with the ancient biblical author's mindset and/or worldview.
Can someone point me to resources on "primary sources" or "primary texts" as it relates to Biblical studies, please?
