Hi everyone.

I posted earlier about book recommendations and I was told that I had to be more specific then that as far as denomination etc.

So here it is. I'm looking for books written from the Assemblies of God prospective.

A systematic theology would be nice if there is one, or anything like that. Any recommendations?

Logos has several resources from The Gospel Publishing House (The Assemblies of God).

Here is one small collection Stanley M. Horton Theology and Biblical Studies Collection (5 vols.)

The main items in the collection that would meet your criteria are

    Bible Doctrines: A Pentecostal Perspective

    Systematic Theology: Revised Edition

Logos also has several resources from Pathway Press (Church of God - Cleveland, TN)

This one is a three volume set.

Christian Doctrine: A Pentecostal Perspective, Volume One

Christian Doctrine: A Pentecostal Perspective, Volume Two

Christian Doctrine: A Pentecostal Perspective, Volume Three

or a bundle of all three of the books here Christian Doctrine: A Pentecostal Perspective (3 vols.)

    Edit:

Also from the Assemblies of God via Global University are these training manuals.

Berean School of the Bible Digital Courses (27 courses)

The product description from the product page:

    [quote]

Global University’s Berean School of the Bible is a continuing education program equipping adult students to lead their churches. The comprehensive Berean School of Bible Digital Courses curriculum provides the academic training you need to receive Berean School of the Bible’s Ministerial Studies Diploma.

This curriculum consists of three levels: certified minister, licensed minister, and ordained minister. Level one covers Bible study methods, New Testament content, and Pentecostal doctrine. Level two focuses on deeper Bible content, systematic theology, and ministry skills. Level three treats advanced theological concepts, interpretively challenging biblical books, and administrative skills. Upon completion of the levels, you will meet the academic requirements for applying for ministerial status with the United States General Council of the Assemblies of God.

More than a third of the ministers officially recognized by the United States General Council of the Assemblies of God have used this curriculum in preparation for ordination. Now integrated with Logos, this impressive series of courses offers a captivating educational experience. Use your navigation panel for easy access to each subject’s units, chapters, and lessons. Place the cursor over any Scripture reference and read the passage in your favorite translation or the original language text. Get immediate test results with direct links to the lesson sections indicating the correct answers.

Links to the individual courses are on the product page so you do not have to buy all of them at the same time.

Jorge, the closest thing to an Assemblies of God ST text is this one: https://www.logos.com/product/164310/systematic-theology-revised-edition It is multi-author.

You can search logos.com for "Assembly of God" and find many works. They also have a series of packages for something called the Bible Engagement Project that is AG. Here's the silver one: https://www.logos.com/product/228462/logos-10-silver-bible-engagement-project

Here is the website for that: https://bibleengagementproject.com/ It says they have Spanish resources too, which might be useful for you

Logos has other Pentecostal-Charismatic base packages that includes titles beyond AG works. You can search for those too.

A systematics title I had recommended earlier that is not AG but is very good is this one: https://www.logos.com/product/177271/renewal-theology-systematic-theology-from-a-charismatic-perspective

Williams was a charismatic presbyterian, and his eschatology is very different from the AG position. However, his substantial section on the Holy Spirit is worth reading. Williams has been said to have out-Pentecostaled the Pentecostals.

Now, beyond books, a friendly recommendation: you have 5 posts so far on this forum. You have started 5 threads. People have taken the time to respond to them and give you advice. You have yet to revisit any of those threads to interact with them. It would be nice if you would do so.

Here are a few good AoG and Pentecostal books.

Van Engen, Charles, Nancy Thomas, and Robert Gallagher, eds. Footprints of God: A Narrative Theology of Mission. Monrovia, CA: Marc: World Vision, 1999.

Winter, Ralph D. and Steven C. Hawthorne, eds. Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, Third edition. Pasadena: William Carey Library, 1999.

York, John V., Missions in the Age of the Spirit. Springfield: Logion, 2000.

Anderson, Allan Heaton. An Introduction to Pentecostalism: Global Charismatic Christianity. 2nd ed. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2014.

Macchia, Frank D. Baptized in the Spirit: A Global Pentecostal Theology. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2006.

Menzies, William W., and Robert P. Menzies. Spirit and Power: Foundations of Pentecostal Experience. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2000.

Jacobsen, Douglas, ed. A Reader in Pentecostal Theology: Voices From the First Generation. Bloomington, IN: Indiana University Press, 2006.

Kärkkäinen, Vali-Matti, ed. The Spirit of the World: Emerging Pentecostal Theologies in Global Contexts. Grand Rapids, MI: Eerdmans, 2009.

Hodges, Melvin L. The Indigenous Church. Springfield, MO: Gospel Publishing House, 1953.

Amos Yong is a good scholar in the Pentecostal tradition you should be aware of and reading in. His work is a good addition to the volumes above. On a side note, I agree with Sean. Now that you have the advice requested you should be able to divulge a good plan of action to begin digging deeper.
