Old Feature Library Searcher

My pastor friend told me in Logos 3 days there was a feature called Library Searcher. It was more advanced and he commented that it acted like AI does presently but instead used your previous searching to determine resources. I do not know about it. He said it was good for doing research and footnoting in papers. What is this old feature called now and how do I access it? I have only been with Logos since Logos 7 or 8, cannot remember.

You don't. Logos 4 (2004? 2009) was essentially a complete rewrite from the users' perspective.

I think it was later.

I started using Logos in 2009 - and seem to remember that being the time of the switch from 3 to 4 (in that I installed 3 but never really used it)

I can't speak exactly to Libby's prowess.

But I have the same in my own Bible software. Sub-searching. You can search the search. Technically, you could just keep adding more search parameters to the original search. But doing quick sub-searchings, it's mentally faster.

The other advantage (my software outputs results to xls spreadsheets), is the sub-searches can feed into the next column, indexed by the initial search. Quite powerful, especially language analysis.

I know I sound like an empty-glass person, but Logos search designs (results display) are really abysmal, for being so fancy.

I worked on Libronix DLS 3, but this name (and description) of the feature isn't ringing any bells. I'm not sure what Libronix feature he might have been thinking of.
