Bug: Inline Search in More Than One Bible at a Time Not Working Properly

When I perform an inline search in a Bible, e.g. the ESV, all is well. If, however, I switch to an additional Bible, e.g. the NRSV, and open an inline search, this creates problems. If I go back to the ESV and try to modify my inline search, my edits are continuously moved to the end of the search. This behavior continues when I try to edit the inline search of the NRSV. Because the editing process is so cumbersome, I am forced to delete the search and start over.

I've just tried what I think you are describing.

I had the ESV and NRSV open

I opened the Inline Search in the ESV, entered a search string and it produced some results

I then opened an Inline Search in the NRSV, entered a search string and it produced some results

I then went back to the ESV and was able to change the search string without any problem.

Is that a similar process to what you are describing?

Thank you very much for your reply. I just downloaded Logos on a new system and am having the exact same issue as before. The steps you detailed do reflect the steps I am taking. It is surprising to me that you were unable to duplicate the error. Did you try to edit the search string at the beginning or middle? Every time I type in the inline search bar, the letters (except for the first letter) get bumped to the end. I will try to make things clearer by attaching a screenshot.

I've replicated the steps you describe - including starting to edit the search string from the beginning - and it works perfectly for me

Aaron, I can confirm the bug you found, running Logos 36 Beta 1 on Windows 11. I would include a screenshot but it looks exactly like yours above.

EDIT: But only if I use ESV, and in fact even if I use ESV alone without another bible. Trying to change the search string in the ESV inline search (Bible Search, All Passages) by adding text at the beginning or in the middle will after the first character always jump to the end of the search string and append it there.

EDit 2: you don't even need to run this or any inline search, it's just the input field of the ESV inline search that's broken (and yes, it's the same for other input strings, as can be seen in the screenshot):

Thank you very much for your detailed reply and for confirming the bug. Unfortunately, I can duplicate this bug without using the ESV (e.g. NRSV, NASB). I can't figure out what exactly sets it off, but once it starts, it seems to be contagious. I just opened the NLT, and the inline search is messed up for me now in that too. The search appears to often function correctly right away. But if I move the tab next to the other Bible or mess around a little, the bug returns. The only thing I can do to fix this bug is restart Logos.
